Summary:  

Lesser Florican cannot be conserved by site-based approach. It can only be conserved through involvement of communities with which it shares its habitat. We need to identify and train capable individuals from different stakeholder groups as leaders and spokepersons for Florican Conservation. Appropriate educational material will be developed in consultation with the stakeholders to enable the leaders to increase the level of awareness amongst the local community/stakeholder groups.
