The Darevsky's viper is a Critically Endangered snake (IUCN category CR C2b) distributed only in Armenia's south-western part of the Javakheti Ridge. This project consists of 2 stages: (1) investigations to reveal and determine the status of new ranges and habitats, including detailed GIS mapping and description of range patches; (2) specific conservation activities focused in previously known and newly discovered ranges and habitats, including film-making and educational campaigns.
