Distribution study of white-shouldered ibis (Pseudibis davisoni) in East Kalimantan-Indonesia

The White-shouldered Ibis (Pseudibis davisoni) has been listed as an endangered species in the Red Data Book, due to its small and declining population. There is still limited research on this species, especially about its ecology and distribution aspect. The expected result of this project is to know the distribution and population size of this species in East Kalimantan, and to identify the influence of human activities on this species. This research will contribute to data of this species, especially in East Kalimantan, and to arrange an action plan for sustainability of this species.
