Mobilising local and international support for conservation of migratory birds through online tools and media

The aim of this internship is  to support an early career conservationist with an opportunity to assist BirdLife International to create a new linked-up network of people and organisations contributing to the conservation of migratory landbirds in the African-Eurasian region. The network, “Friends of Landbirds Action Plan (FLAP)”, has been envisaged by Parties to Convention on Migratory Species (CMS). BirdLife is a major player within CMS processes due to the relevance of the Convention on conservation of migratory birds. The intern will develop a range of skills in community engagement, education and awareness raising by mobilising local and international support for conservation of migratory birds through online tools and media.
