Bringing the wild into the classroom: online conservation for Chilean teachers

The specific objectives of the intern are to: (1) receive formal training in environmental education and biological conservation; (2) learn about WCS’ conservation vision in Chile and how WCS works to achieve this vision through the Karukinka project; and (3) generate a proposal for an environmental education program, in Spanish and tailored to the local context, that aims to teach Chilean primary and secondary school teachers and promote the understanding of ecology and conservation biology among them.
