Vulture conservation in Africa

This internship will grow the professional capacity of an forthcoming conservation leader. Mercy will learn to use multiple approaches to address species population decline crisis, while at the same time make use of the internship capacity to contribute to the coordination and driving of the ongoing BirdLife Africa initiative to halt the declines of vulture populations in Africa. Mercy will also learn about and contribute toward the work being done by the BirdLife Africa Partnership to conserve vultures in Africa. In particular she will support and gain further skills in the areas of science, public awareness and education, policy and advocacy and project support for vulture conservation in Africa.
