In previous years, CLP project teams that have previously received a Future Conservationist Award have been able to apply for Conservation Follow-up Awards. These Continuation Awards involved grants of up to $25,000 and were available to teams addressing a conservation issue raised by recommendations in a project previously supported by CLP. Follow-Up projects have focused on direct conservation outputs, for example lobbying, awareness raising, education, training and monitoring.
