Assessing the Impact Across BLI Americas Programs: Data Analysis and Community Strategy Testing

This Career Placement will support the development of an institutional dashboard that communicates the cumulative conservation impact of BirdLife’s regional partnership in the Americas. This includes compiling, analysing, and visualizing key data on species, habitats, and conservation actions in close collaboration with regional partners. The mentee will also contribute to the analysis of recent bird monitoring data and help to establish the data processing requirements for a Bird Monitoring database from our grassland conservation program. This placement offers hands-on experience in how ecological data informs regional monitoring, project-level analysis using database platforms, statistical modelling and stakeholder engagement that connects data to territorial decision-making.
