SUPPORTED PROJECTS

Harnessing the potential of promising conservation leaders to conserve South Sudan’s unique biodiversity

Emmanuel Kutiote Justin Omer

In a conflict-affected country with limited resources and capacity, FFI South Sudan aims to support the Wildlife Service and local communities to better conserve their rare but little known biodiversity and manage their Protected Areas. As a very promising young South Sudanese conservation leader, Emmanuel will be involved in all aspects of field conservation and protected area management in a supportive role to the Project Team, thereby building his capacity and technical expertise when it comes to species conservation, natural resources management and protected area management.
