Building capacity in biodiversity conservation to implement the transition plan of BirdLife International Cambodia Programme

This opportunity will allow an intern, who is passionate about birds and nature, to input on processes developing the biodiversity conservation programme strategy and engage in conservation action in Cambodia. Within the ten month project period, the intern will assist the BirdLife Cambodia Programme Manager with the implementation of a transition plan, including establishing a new national NGO and developing a ten year programme strategy. The intern will also be involved in implementing vulture conservation activities especially population monitoring, facilitating vulture project partner meetings, and education and awareness raising. This experience will increase the intern's knowledge about biodiversity and environmental polices, thereby helping to develop their career.
