A capacity strengthening intervention for FFI’s main partner NGO in Ecuador, Fundacion Sirua

This internship will allow the opportunity for the intern to test and apply research methods with FFI’s main partner NGO in Ecuador, Fundacion Sirua (Awacachi Corridor in NW Ecuador - Esmeraldas Province) —as a capacity strengthening intervention for helping both the NGO and the intern approach and learn about capacity development in a more purposeful and strategic manner. Fundacion Sirua was established in part by FFI in 2003 as the legal land owner and management entity for the Awacachi Corridor and essentially evolved from one member of staff to current team of 12 full-time staff stationed in both central and field offices.
