Conducting field surveys and supporting the National Conservation Training Programme

The intern will be closely engaged with the work of FFI in Tajikistan, including involvement with national level training in conservation, and also biodiversity surveys in a range of habitats across the country. The intern will assist FFI in the operations of these projects, and be progressively handed responsibility for small components of the work. The main activities will include: involvement in the delivery of training and mentoring to participants in the National Conservation Training Programme, help with development of training components for high-school and undergraduate students in environmental issues, involvement in the Zorkul Nature Reserve project , English language training in scientific English, attendance at at least two international conferences, dissemination of his research work, and to be exposed to a range of different nationalities and areas of study.
