Mount Mabu conservation project field focal point

The internship will support the professional development and learning process of a technical person and at the same time contribute for the establishment of a conservation area through an inclusive participatory process where the communities are actively involved from the design of the project. The area in question is the Mount Mabu forest, with high biological importance surrounded by 4 communities that live and depend on that land. The project aims to not only protect the area but also identify alternative sources of income for these communities thus ensuring the sustainability of the conservation area.
