Thiri Dae We Aung

The goals of the internship are for Thiri Dae We Aung to improve her skills using the core count method, in scientific report writing as well as learn to identify Baer’s pochard among migratory waterbird species.
These skills will be learned by conducting conservation activities for the Baer’s pochard. It's population has declined rapidly in the last 20 years and it's IUCN Red list status has dropped from Near Threatened to Critically Endangered. The conservation activities aim to support the improvement of conservation status of this species.
