Project Aguará ÑU
Rob Clay
Direct follow-up of Project Yacutinga. Working in the critically threatened grassland habitats of Paraguay, this project aims to ensure the long-term viability of Aguará Ñu, a cerrado site of exceptional global importance within the Reserva Natural del Bosque Mbaracayú. Working in full collaboration with Fundación Moisés Bertoni, this joint Paraguay-British project will achieve its aims through an integrated set of conservation research, environmental education and training objectives. The team's efforts will provide the essential information and skills necessary for the development of a management plan integrating human uses of the area with the ecological requirements of the species of conservation concern.
