Research and educational outreach for the Bangladesh cetacean diversity project

The intern will help the Bangladesh Cetacean Diversity Project’s (BCDP) research team with ongoing dolphin surveys and do calibration of the captains who are engaged with the dolphin survey to find out their accuracy and mortality monitoring of fresh water dolphins. He will also assist the team with organizing the western Sundarbans dolphin survey. With the educational outreach team, the intern will work on developing a communication plan, media materials focusing on the new wildlife sanctuaries for the conservation of fresh water dolphins and develop dolphin-friendly tourism certification process.
