Understanding the illegal trade of the yellow naped parrot in Ometepe, Nicaragua

Emerson leads the design and implementation of a research project on the trade situation of the yellow naped parrot in Ometepe, Nicaragua. In addition to identifying nesting sites for protection, Emerson also seeks to understand the behaviour of illegal hunting of this species through surveying, interviews and data analysis. He is training to become a conservation leader with in depth knowledge of illegal wildlife trade in Latin America.
